Salsa Basics (Beginner’s Skills) A foundation in the basic step, rhythm and timing. The fundamentals of salsa: basics, patterns, footwork, turns and technique, which includes proper posture, balance and upper/lower body coordination. Come discover how to dance salsa with confidence and style in a welcoming & social atmosphere. Cost of the class is $10 per person.

Whether you’ve never danced before or have taken dance classes in the past, our classes will give you the basic instruction you need to start rocking that dance floor. This is a great opportunity to learn and/or brush up on your basic salsa skills.  Repetition is key in learning and developing your salsability.

Salsa is a fun & great way to socialize and get some exercise all at the same time. No partner is required for the class although it may be helpful so that you can practice during the week.

Rookies is a family-friendly, smoke-free sports bar with the best burgers in town, mouth-watering ribs and a variety of other delicious food on their menu. It's also where the Harrisburg Salsa & Rueda Casino Meetup holds our events. Bring your friends and come early to Rookies to have a wonderful night of dinner and learning to dance salsa!
